With a laser welder, we are able to do our repairs faster than if they were done with traditional methods. This way, you don't have to be without your jewelry for months at a time. The laser repairs are also 250% stronger than traditional welding. Bruce Fuller is currently apprenticing under Peter Maus who has been a goldsmith for more than 23 years, and Harry Monnier who has been a goldsmith for 6 years. Fuller plans to attend Drouhard National Jewelers School in Ohio to further his goldsmith training. J. F. Appraisals Certified or Graduate Gemologists (GIA) do all of our appraisals (insurance or estate) in-house. We offer free appraisals for all jewelry that is purchased from J. F. Kruse Jewelers, with free updates for the life of the piece. The price on all other appraisals depends in the size of the piece and of the stones, the number of stones, and their intricacy. Bring in your jewelry at anytime for an estimate. Pearl and Bead Restringing Our talented and trained restringing team can work on anything from wire restringing on your beaded costume jewelry to knotted restringing of your finest pearls.

Co-owner and service department manager, Peter Maus, has over 23 years of experience in the business, and has been a Certified Gemologist since 1999. He has mastered classes in watch making, gem setting, and laser repair.
Full-time goldsmith Harry Monnier brings his unique training as an industrial welder to the bench at J. F. Kruse. Now, he has been in the industry for six years, including time under an accomplished custom jewelry designer. He most recently finished a diamond channel setting class at the Minneapolis Community and Technical College.
