Is custom more expensive?

In most cases, custom designed jewelry is not more expensive than showcase items, and you get exactly what you want! Pricing is based on many factors, such as complexity, diamonds and gemstones selected as well as the type and amount of metal needed. J. F. Kruse Jewelers offers a free estimate and reviews all the possible options to ensure that you are well educated about the process. Can I use my own metal and gemstones?

While it is generally best to use new metals when creating your design, we are also able to reuse metal from jewelry you have and re-create it into new and exciting designs. For structural integrity, we can use up to 50% of your metal in a new piece. You can also create your design to include your own diamonds and gemstones. This allows you to retain the sentimental value of the jewelry you are recycling.

How long will it take?

Most custom designs can be completed within three to four weeks. There are no shortcuts to quality. We highly recommend starting very early for any custom designs desired for a specific event or occasion.
