Typically, it takes about two weeks to have your jewelry repaired based on the volume of repairs we’re experiencing at the time. Some minor jewelry repairs may be completed in a shorter timeframe, while others may take longer. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will give you an estimated timeframe and contact you as soon as your jewelry is ready to be picked up.
Nearly all of our jewelry repair and service work is completed in-house. When you leave your jewelry with us, it goes directly into the hands of the goldsmiths who will be working on your jewelry to start the repair process. When our goldsmiths aren’t working on your jewelry, all pieces go into a locked safe so you can rest assured that your jewelry is safe and secure.
Repair prices are based on the intricacy of the repair, as well as the precious metal and type, number, and size of the diamonds or gemstones in the piece. In order to give you an accurate estimate, one of our staff must examine your jewelry in person. At J. F. Kruse Jewelers, we pride ourselves on providing great values and expert quality workmanship on every piece of jewelry we repair.
Every effort is made and every precaution taken to ensure that your jewelry repair is completed perfectly. Our goldsmiths and diamond setters are experts at what they do, and our primary goal is to exceed your expectations. However, jewelry repair is done by hand, and there is always a risk. J. F. Kruse Jewelers accepts full liability of your jewelry during the repair process. If an issue arises during your repair, we will contact you immediately and take measures to remedy the situation. Occasionally, our goldsmiths may require you to sign a waiver if they see a potential issue with repairing your jewelry. Our goldsmiths are happy to answer your questions and provide you with the specifics of what is involved with your repair.
We offer a one year warranty on all jewelry repairs completed by our goldsmiths. For the specifics regarding our warranty, please stop in and ask one of our staff for more information.
