If you prefer to be a part of the process, you may watch our Gemologists appraise your jewelry and ask any questions you may have.

The price of appraisals depends on the type, number, and size of the diamonds and gemstones and the intricacy of the piece. We invite you to bring in your jewelry anytime; at J. F. Kruse, you don’t need an appointment to have your jewelry appraised. We’ll provide you with a free estimate on the spot and answer your questions, all with no pressure or obligation. In addition, we offer special pricing on appraising multiple pieces. Once we appraise your jewelry, we update the appraisal for free for the life of the piece. If you change insurance companies, pass your jewelry down to a family member, or simply need a current value, we’ll update the appraisal for free anytime.
